I have a 2001 that wont start via the switch on the handlebar. I have replaced the switch, battery, starter, & magnetic switch. If I bypass the switch and run a jumper from the battery to the starter it will fire up. I am thinking the problem is the wire from the start switch on the handlebar, multiple wires come out of the switch, does anyone know what the color or what position the wire is that comes out of the switch for the start button specifically?

I used to have the service manual saved on my work computer, but when they upgraded it, I didn't transfer it over. You should be able to get a pdf download for about 5 bucks. Money well spent.

You sure that's the service manual? Factory manual is 300 pages. That may be the owners manual.
