i have questions regarding polaris struts
#1
i replaced my front struts with newer used ones. my struts were completely shot and full of water and the springs were so saggy. anyhow i bought what look to be the exact same shocks (same part number) and installed them on my 03 sportsman. he said they were off an 04. springs looked a tad longer but i suspect its because old ones are worn out. so what i noticed is after i installed them they were insane stiff. took it down my bumpy road and the front wheels were almost bouncing off the ground. they didnt seem to be siezed when installed them or be leaking. i guess they could be bent. but ive jumped my quad 6 feet and my old ones never bent lol. anyway wondering if they need to be broken back in again as if they might have some rust rings in them or something? i have an 03 500 fyi

I picked up a 2001 325, the guy said he replaced the front shocks. Same thing it's to stiff. Did you ever find a way to fix it, I was thinking of maybe putting some Older springs on the new shock. If you or anyone has a idea I'd appreciate it.
