So, I've got the 850 working well and now it's time to focus on old faithfull - my '03 500SP. I'm looking for opinions on front suspension springs. When the quad was less than 1 year old, the original springs were sagging badly. I had read (at the time - '03) that people were running the 700SP springs in the 500 with good success, however, my dealer at the time talked me into going with Ranger springs - telling me that lots of guys were going that way and the heavy springs would soften up in a short period of time. Well, it's been seven years now and the ride is still way too stiff. What are others running ? Are there adjustable conversion kits available ? (I'm sure I've seen them before).

I don't think the '03 500 had progressive rate springs. Those were in the 600 and 700 only. It also looks to me for that year in the 500 the spring rate was lower then any other year which would help explain the increased sag. I have the EPI's and they are great but for me I have a 600 and it does have the progressive rate springs.
