Anyone know why I keep blowing my 5 A. Fuse when I go to start machine, either kick start or electric,,if I change fuse starts for 2 seconds then dies.

 

It hasn't got a 5 amp fuse. Two 15 amp fuses, one in each rubber "box" just in front of the battery. If you put a 5A fuse in it may just be too small. If it blows a 15A as soon as you fit it, the regulator is probably playing up. However if it only blows when you switch ignition on, you have a short somewhere in the loom or in a component after the ignition switch.

 

Thank you,so I replaced the fuse but now it just wont start,going to start with basics,
