I have a 2000 Honda 300 ex with no spark I have changed the cdi and still have no spark I think it’s my wiring harness and I was wonder if I could use a wiring harness off a 300 fourtrax

Far easier to find the fault and fix it than to try to get a harness off a different bike to work. Even the harness for an early Fourtrax won't work on a late one, as Honda changed how the CDI worked at least four times. Get the workshop manual for your machine, and check the resistances etc, at the CDI that it tells you to test, this will indicate which wire or component is wrong, if it is a stator wire faulty, test the faulty wire again at the stator plug and it will show if it is a stator fault or a wire between stator plug and CDI plug. Same goes for earth wire and live (or kill wire depending on how your CDI works) if it is one of those shown to be faulty.

Great job as usual! I would keep pushing this type of CDI video because a lot of people need help testing used bikes. Plus I'm sure you are gaining followers. Most common problem out there on used bikes is no spark. I just got all my parts in the mail this week and will be testing a spare FourTrax 300 motor. I'll let you know how it goes. You've been a great help and I'm greatly appreciative!!
