I have a friend who currently owns a 98 SP500 with over 8000 miles on it and he is looking at getting something newer. Can anyone tell me the major differences between the new RMK and the SP500? He like me rides on the West slope of the Rockies and it's a lot of up and down hills. He would also like to know how the speed of it is. He occasionally likes to go flat out on some desert trails. Will it be as fast as his 98? These and any other comments and answers would be appreciated.
