About ready to turn 700 miles so that means an oil change. I figure I will just do it myself so this is what i figure i need is 3qts. of oil and filter do i need to replace the o-ring on the filter?

 

All you need is oil and filter. If you only have 700 miles on your machine your O-rings should be in good shape. I just did oil changes on my Rancher, XR 600 and my son's TTR90. It's easy!!

The o-rings should be ok, but if not they cost next to nothing at any auto parts store.
I usually need just two full quarts for my 300ex, and thats with the filter and letting all of the oil drain out for a while.
