front wheel studs?

can i change them to longer bolts so i can run bigger tires?

You can change them out with 3/8-24(thats the pitch, fine thread) Make sure they are at least grade 5.

You can get sportsman rear studs to use in the front of scrambler/trailblazer or sport. they are identicle but longer.

how would be the best and easiest way of removing the front studs??

Screw the nut on flush with the end of the stud, and give a few wacks with a hammer...brass one is the best. If you damage the threads, the nut will straighten them out on the way off. You can use fine or coarse bolts, just trying to save you $ with the fine ones, they work with the stock nuts.
