I have a friend who has the chance of getting an old 1985 trx 125 for nothing, but the transmission gears appear to be thrashed. Anyone on this forum know where he might be able to find an engine or transmission or both that we might be able to stick in this thing and make it work? The engine seems ok but the tranny is history I am afraid. Nearly all the transmission gears are missing at least 1 tooth. I have heard that even a 3-wheeler engine and tranny might work on this thing. He is hoping to make it rideable for his son without spending alot of money. Thanks for any and all responders!!

The ATC 125M and 110 both have a simular engine, but lack reverse.... but have dual range[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] they should fit

 

Too bad you didn't post this 2 weeeks ago, i had a really nice condition ATC110 engine.
