I just got a new K&N air filter for my warrior because the stock one is shot. But i have ran into a problem the K&N when i put it in it dont sit in there all the way and i cant get my air box lid to go on. So what should i do is it a problem with the airfilter or do i need to modify my box.

 

It might be in up-side-down. If I recall the tabs that hold it in are different sizes. I might be wrong, though. My K&N dropped right in with no mods reqd.

I think it is a problem with the air filter itself. Back in the day when I had my warrior, my k&n fit perfectly without any airbox mods. Maybe it's the wrong filter.
