Hello all, I need some help. I live in CT but vacation in Ogunquit Maine (York County, real close to NH) and this year I want to bring my quads.
Does anyone know of any spots to ride there? I have called the Fish and Wildlife people and they send me a trail map but it dosent look like anyting is real nearby. I know you folks must be riding somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I ride a 660 Griz and my son has a Quadmaster 50 so I am not looking for extreme trails just something to blast around on. Thanks again

I have riddin in the wells area..a while ago. Southern NH has a few good places. Its always better to bring the machine's and look for a place than not to have them with ya. I see a lot of trails in the Sanford area,1/2 hrs drive from Og..I'm sure if u went there and asked a dealer or Find someone with a wheeler there trk..and ask u will be all set

Their are plenty of places one just has to ask around. I moved back east from Oregon with a rm 125. I ended up selling it because all the state printed maps showed places very far away. After I sold it i met some people from snowmobiling that also rode quads. Come to find out Shapliegh Maine has a ton of trails that go all over, including Sanford. This was right in my back yard. I recently bought a quad and am excited for this summer.

Since you have a little one there is a sandpit in Wells and one in Dayton (Dayton sand and gravel, can ride on the weekends) to get your kid started on the right track. From there you should be able to talk to the locales for other areas.

Shapliegh has some rough terrain for the kid but if you start from Boonies' store you should be all set. My friend lives in CT, he was gonna buy a ATV but he says there is no place to ride it. I was suprised to hear that even if you ride your ATV on your own property you need to register it.
