For some reason that plastic thing on the end of the carb cable that makes the cable stiff to open the carbs got ruined and it is off now to make a long story short. Can I just buy that little plastic thing or do I need a whole new cable???

I just pulled the cable off of my stock carbs cause I sold them and I had a heck of a time getting the cable off. I too was worried I was going to F it up. A rag over the cable and that plastic thing, then used pliers and alot of pulling, it came all off without F'n it up. I think I really got lucky.

Are you using the stock cable on your FCR's? I need to know ASAP, please. I want to use the thumb throttle, not a twist, and I need to know what cable I am going to need. Any imput Juice? Thanks!

Look at item #6, and yes it is a pain to get it out.
