Taken the Mag 325 out to my buddy's farm today, he has a Sportsman 500 which I have no problem keeping up with, I gain on him in corners, he pulls away in the straights. BUT, he just got a little weapon of his own, the new 400Z. So I plan on just tryin to keep up, to see how I do, I am a much better rider than he is, but I can still beat him in the woods, no matter what he is on, I learned to ride in thick woods. But I just really wanna go ride, I did not fix my fan on the quad yet so I am hoping that it doesn't overheat on me.
What is the fastest quad you have beatin with a slow quad, like a banshee with a trailboss or something?
Hopin to take the 400 today, but that's what I will need, hope.

 

if the fan is on all day it'll keep extra cool. so dont worry bout. i bet he'll stall that z in every conor. my .02

 

It's not that the fan stays on, it never comes on.

 

Ok, I was very suprised with the outcome, I did get beat, but not by much. The Z400 has good power, but I was not impressed by much else on the quad. I did get a chance to ride it, it wheelied easy just by a touch of the gas, but, I still was not amazed at anything, the clutch seemed to catch later than I am used to, It was too small for me, i'm 6'2 and I was very cramped on it, It shifted nice excpet the clutch felt funny on it, it accelerated good, but nothing that will take your breath away, I wasn't even amazed at the handling of the machine, taking it around corners at the farm just didnt' impress me. I am hoping to test the predator when it's available and maybe get one, I love the utility, but the sport quad just completes the the entire package
