Well, other than Mikuni carbs, what else comes from Japan into a West coast port that goes into a Bombardier? Polaris has Fugi motors, Maybe they could get them in through Canada. Honda has their quad factory in Georgia. But you know they make lots of parts in Japan anyway. This could be trouble for everyone, but maybe not Bombardier. Our economy will be in deep do-do if this strike goes on anyway, but our sport will really suffer....

Fourlix, the dock workers are locked out, not on strike. I found out the difference the hard way
I would think quad shipments would be a springtime thing anyway. Since the U.S. is running a constantly larger trade deficit maybe this will actually help our economy and get more people to buy U.S. made goods.

Bombardier, and Polaris (the domestic brands) Should switch to edlebrocks ATV carbs and forget mikuni. IMO.

I dont like japanise products much. As far as im concerned if its made here buy it. Why support the economy of some other country.

I was talking to Edelbrock this past week. Looks like the standard throttle cable bracket does not work on the Z400 and may not work on the Predator. I have been trying to get some of the desert racers to try out the carb. All the R&D is done all there is a need for demand.

Isn't this what is wrong with American Business thinking? If Edelbrock wants to make a mark they need to get off their duff, stop complaining about how much money it costs to tool up for a throttle linkage and make these carbs available. Not just Raptors, but Z's, DS's, Predators, they should be working on one for the V-700 Kawi too.
