Just wondering what a stock Mojave has in Horsepower.

 

the stock H.P. is supposed to be about 17-18 with about 16 ft. lbs. of torgue

 

Do you have a mojave? Yes it is about 18hp stock.

 

Four Stroke Tech told me it was more like 15hp. And a Warrior has 18hp.

According to the Vehicle origination sheet that was provided when I bought my new Mojave. Kawasaki say's that the Mojave is 25hp but that is way wrong. Check your origination sheets and see what they say. I am curious as to how they came up with that number!

I had a Mojave and when i bought mine the papaers that came with it said it made 18 hp, it was fast, handle good, and jumped real good but then i traded for a 300EX and it was faster, handled better and would even better sorry i still like the MOjave just wasn't electric start and had problems with the jets in the carb so i traded it in.

 

Hey Everybody,

I called Kawasaki's customer service department and asked for specs on the Mojave. It is also on their buykawasaki web site. At the crank it produces 25hp. Now I Know that at the crank does not mean didly when it comes to what you're transfering to the ground...So does anyone have any ideas? I saw the reply to the original post about 15 or 18. What does everyone think?
