I just bought a used Rancher and don't have the owners manual. I've been pokin around but couldn't locate the oil filter or the manual recoil start. Anyone point me in the right direction(s)?

If it's the same as my 2002 Rancher, the oil filter is on the right side of the engine (towards the front) under a circular plate with three 8mm bolts on it.The filter is kind of spring loaded, so be careful when you take it off. The recoil start is under the removable plastic trim towards the rear of the engine on the same side.(Kind of where your right heel would be while riding) Hope this helps!!!
