Default 45mm Carb settings?

Well I get my 45mm carb tomorrow, Any suggestions on set-up with the accl. pump hooked up running at sea level? From what I have read I am going to start with a 1/8" gap on the pump rod,150 main,37.5 pilot,50 pump nozzle and the needle on the center clip. Sound good????

You will probably have to go smaller on the pilot jet, maybe as low as a 30.

Default 45mm Carb settings?

I took eli54's advise a started with a 32.5 pilot, 150 main, 50 pump nozzle, 1/8" gap on the accl pump, and the needle (#97) in the center position. Well I am very happy with the results. I have way more mid and top end plus the throttle responce is great!! The big test will this weekend at Pismo. I will let everyone know the results. ( Any info to improve this combo would be great!!)

Well I am back from my trip at Pismo, my luck the weather sent me home early. But before the weather changed I hooked up with Mark (Duneme). We ran the fence line and did some dragging. As far as the performance of the 45mm, I am impressed. My bike ran real strong in the draggs and had no problems with throttle responce, but I can tell I am going to need some aftermarket clutch springs. The only way I can gauge the difference is to race my buddy on his Raptor. We were pretty close before the carb, but it looks like we won't have a chance to race until 4SW. Just a little info we saw a Predator this weekend that was fast!! I don't know what kind of work he had done but I could only beat him by a few of bike lengths.

MadBaja819,

I'm not sure where the reference was made, however the plug for the CDI on a Baja and 'regular' DS650 is different, that is probably what he was referring to as the 'pin out' on the CDI.
