From stock banshee.........To to the Trinity 420LR Banshee????????
#1
o.k. here's the 411.I have a stock 2003 BansheeLE and desided to make it the Banshee I've always wanted(like the one that blows by you like your tied to a cord of logs!!!)BTW,it happens all the time when I'm on my 400EX and that just sucks. So I went out and bought a Banshee myself,"If you can't beat 'em...... join 'em"(wise words!)I did have a 2000 Banshee that I traded for the "all new kick a$$ 2001 Raptor"Not my best decision....oh-well, live and learn. Now that I have it back,I want it to be one of those screeming Banshee's that just wails! Money isin't my biggest consern, buying the wrong parts is. CPI pipes and V-Force reeds are a given....But should I say the heck with it and go for the 420LR kit?Are those things hard to drive? Is it worth the $$$?Should I try doing something else?

The 421 with cheetah cylinders or even the 400 looks like a kicka$$ set up, and very ridable with the powervalve. The 535s are rockets on wheels.

Me and Outofcontrol were out at the dunes a couple weekends ago and there was a trinity 420LR with stock cylinders and it was pitifully slow. OTC's 350 banshee with minor porting was dead even with him. If your going to do a trinity motor do the cheetahs. They are nearly perfect out of the box, even trinity cant fudge them up.

I saw Daren420's Trinity 420LR run yesterday and it was very impressive. After a long day of sand dragging, he took off around the park to ride the trails. I was surprised at the rideablity of the engine. He even runs half pump/half race gas mix. He started the day with his Paul Turner high revs, then switched to my CPI's. He built the engine 3 years ago, and hasn't touched it since. PM him. He is a great guy to talk to.
