My reverse indicator light will not come on when I put my 02 500 HO in to reverse. On the other hand it does light up when I push the over-ride button. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here?

I also have that problem with one of my sportsman 400s. I dont know what causes it but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It does work for a while after i clean the wires and other times it doesnt do anything.
