I have a GRIZZ 660. After it has been warmed up(rode for 45minutes to an hour) and either idles fo 3-4 minutes or is shut off then started again, it cuts out and runs rough. If I ride for a couple minutes with occasional full throttle, it clears up and runs fine. I have installed a K/N filter and jet kit with a 150 main, 2 and 1/2 turns out on the screw. I ride below 2000 ft. elevations. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!

 

blu660grizz...what color is the plug now after the kit?...sounds like your rich,do you have a stock exhaust?muffler mod or aftermarket pipe?

 

I checked the plug. Black around the threads not too much around the ignitor though. I have a stock exhaust. Is the only carb adjustment to adjust the richness in the carb near the jet that I installed? A pain to have to take the carb off to adjust this. If I am reading the directions on the Dynojet kit correctly, I will need to turn the screw clockwise to lean out the mixture. I am thinking about 1/4 of a turn. Any other suggestions? What does a hotter plug do for you? Thanks so far!

 

blu660grizz...i woud try a 146mj w/stock exhaust with some air box mods(uni-filter vents) even a 142mj with the filter alone you would have ben close the grizzly's are a little rich from the dealer.
