i got all the allen screws out and the side case is just loose, how the heck to i get it off? does it have anything to do with that little black fan for the cooling system??? help

 

Make sure the two allens are out that hold the starter on. Also the is a bolt that goes through the foot peg that needs to be removed so the side case will clear when slidding it off. Other than that once it is loose a few wiggles back and forth should do it.

 

the side case is completely loose or is it still tight to the block? you did get the two in the starter? and there is the bolt in the foot peg that you have to take out.
