Twist Throttle
#2
Yes I have and so has a friend. It has pro's & con's. It is much easyer on your hand than a thumb, but when you make sharp turns to the right makes it a little awkward you can end up excellerating a lot faster than you plan, can be dangerious. I ended up taking it back off. Dennise Kirk has them though. Be careful.

a few mounths back i was going to put a twist throttle on my cat and i talked to some people and i came to the same conclution.
its dangerous.
if you go over a jump and land wrong and crack the throttle wide open or wipe out and have the throttle get stuck open its not good.
after looking all the options i decided not to do it for safty reasons.
PS. i've had dirt bikes all my life and i still have two and i think i will leave the twist throttle on the dirt bike.
after a while you get used to it and its not all that bad.
just get some hand and thumb warmars for the winter and you love it.
hope this helps.

I was running my yfz around a track today. Turns to the left were no problem, but when I went right...I couldn't get/stay on the throttle when I needed to. When ya lean left, as with the left turn, your hand pulls away from the throttle so that you can't hold it. I'm goin to a twist asap.
