Wish I bought a Honda
#11
Yo D. Page- was it a honda that hauled the Tennessee Volunteers loser butts back out of Arkansas this year after getting kicked by an unranked Razorback team? I just wondered because I've heard that those Hondas can pull a lot more than their claimed towing capacity.

no it was not a honda that carried them off andy. They carried themselves off because they are real sportsmen that know how to except defeat. They know that this is a part of every ones life. And by the way Tennessee is going to a bcs poll and Arkkkkansas isn't even going to a poll. I don't want to hear you talking about them again because remember they are still the national champions untill Januraury the 4. When was the last time you could say that about Arkkkkkansas. (never)

Andy, Razorbacks! Razorbacks! "An unrated Razorback team defeated the Volunteers . . ."
How about this? 1999 season. An "unrated", to say the least, LSU Tiger team kicks the Nationally-Ranked and Bowl-Bound Razorbacks up the field and down again! And the Tigers don't even have a COACH!
How did the Tigers, who proved they couldn't beat the Istrouma Junior High second string during the previous part of the season, hang one on the vaunted Razorbacks?

Isn't that amazing. I'm currently attending LSU right now and believe me, that was the big highlight of the season. It was in papers all over the campus. First winning game of the season. Boy do we SUCK!!!!!!! Or do we? We beat the Razorbacks.

LSU played a good game and though the Hogs went down, I was happy to see that LSU team break their 8 loss streak. They were due. It didn't change the Hogs bowl bid any either.
D. Page- you don't know much about anything do you. First off, how would any team go to a "poll"? Are they getting to vote on something as a result of a good winning record? As far as Bowl games go, Arkansas meets Texas in the Cotton Bowl Jan. 1st. These two teams have a good history and both teams are excited at the chance to play each other once again. As far as National championships go, you weren't around in 1964 I don't think. Frank Broyles on the other hand was.
The Hogs have to be the worst road team there is. Lost every road game fairly bad, though they had key injuries for Alabama and Kentucky. But this is also the team that kicked *** on #2 Tennessee and #12 (#8 the week before) Mississippi State back to back. I wouldn't predict a win over Texas, but Arkansas is for real. Remember the name Cedric Cobbs. You will see him again.
Also, there is only one Big Nasty and he left Arkansas in 1995. After taking the MVP of the 1994 NCAA basketball championship and guiding the Razorbacks to a runner up finish the next season.
