Default Help! 03 400 4x2 auto or 400 4x2 manuel ACT suspension?

After hours of research and reading the posts on this board I have decied that Arctic Cat is for me. I want to ride on trails in the mountains - but I don't hunt and am not into snow. I was wondering if the 4x2 will be enough machine for myself or will I lament not spending the extra money to buy the 4x4 - but without the auto and has ACT supsension rather than four wheel independent.

Always grateful for your thoughts

Michael

I have the 400 manual ACT 4x4. I absolutly love it. If I were you I would get the 4x4 just because you don't know when you might just need it. The manual is alot more sporty. The auto is a little more sluggish. The ACT rides the same as the IRS. Hope this helps.

Spend the extra, get the 4x4 or you will regret it before the first year is up!!!!!!!!!

Cancat - I can't help but notice that you have a 250 4x2 - are you dissapointed with the machine? How does the quad perform in snow and mud? I was considering buying one for my wife this weekend and my older children - what have been your impressions of the ATV.

Thanks

Michael
