Just got a 500 Auto!
I just purchased a Used? 03 lime green 500 auto w/54 miles on it for $4800. Seems alot nicer ride than an 02 that a friend has. The guy who traded it in only had it 3 days and didn't like it for some reason. I was looking for something with a little more power than my rancher and the price on this one seemed pretty reasonable to me since I was looking at a new grizz for 2 grand more. So what do you Cat owners think about the deal ? Dealer said he would give me back the selling price in a month if I didn't like the quad. Is there anything I need to look for and options that are a must have ?
I was thinking a more protecive front bumper might be a good idea. I have some mudrunners from my rancOk.. I picked up a 03 500 auto with 54 miles on it for $4800.00. Took it for a test ride and it seemed her I can put on it.( yes they are 12in tires ) Thanks from a new Lime green Cat owner!!

Hey Iowa Hunter
I have an 02 500 auto 4X4. I like everything about it except the soft rear shocks, it is set up more for trail riding than hauling that doesn't do me any good since I am a hunter and need a stiff rear rack area the shocks on mine are not adjustable. I also put on 26" ITP MudLites all the way around and a 2500 Warn winch, now I have a great machine. No problems yet, brakes moan every now and then but other than that it has been great. My friend has an 02 Rubicon and it doesn't hold a candle to my Cat. I have always been a Yamaha fan that is all I have ever owned till I bought an Arctic Cat it was the best move I have made.
I gave $5100 for mine brand new at the first of this year it was a left over. So I would say you done just fine 50 miles ain't gonna hurt it none!!! If you are like me and are tax exempt than you done great.
