as far as the hard start that will soon go away as mine did when it was new, i have 200 miles on mine now and it starts with no hassle, right around the 20-25 hours it will start alot easyer, as far as having ignition problems none what so ever, and the little belt squeal that you hear at idle that is mint mine did the same thing and as soon as you touch the throttle its gone nothing to worry about dont believe everything that you read just have fun with your machine, i will say that the hl ignition module makes the bike run alot better i installed one a couple of weeks ago and its the best thing since sliced bread. lol just my 2 cents

Thanks, I guess I'm a little paranoid. Now when I finally get it started using the throttle, then running on it's own, it dies when I stop if I don't use the throttle. It seems as if the idle is too low. Here is another paranoid question, is it bad to use the stater 30-40 times within a 2-3 hr period? I'm trying to use my ATV for work around the acrage and every time I stop, it dies. I then have to restart it. I hope this problem goes away.

well it sounds like the eng is starting to break in i had to turn up my idle for the same reason when i came to a stop, completly off the throttle it would stahl so what i suggest is when the eng is at normal operating temp adjust the idle up i believe that the idle is suppost to be like 1100 or 1000 rpm out of gear its in the owners manual the idle adjustment is a little cable with a black twist **** on the passenger side of the bike behind the fuel petcock hope this helps
