Yep, that's what a dealer told me. I think he's BSing me though cause I can't find anyone at BP to verify. Y'all heard anything out there.

 

Up north there is a chain called Gander Mountian and they carry Arctic Cat. Thay have stores in MN, WI, IL and maybe a few other states. My dealer told me that Arctic Cat is looking for more large stores like bass pro shops and Cabela's to carry the product. It looks like it will happen.

 

This is true Bass Pro has them. I seen the ad in there master catalog. I think that the only bass pro that has them is the Springfield, MO store. The store in IL does not carry them. I went to Gander and they sell you the floor model that every kid and there brother has been sitting on and it is all scuffed up and scrached. I mean it sounds funny but I am paying thousands I want it to look like new on the way home. Besides my small dealer has qualified people in the service area also was able to beat gander by $500 and it was straight out of the crate. Just my thoughts

 

gander is building a new mega store on i 94 in kenosha to compete with bass pro. cuz the one in wilmot no one gose to any more.

Just got back from Gander Mt to check out their accessories. I decided to ask them their OTD price of the rig I bought and I could have got the same 500 auto (but with MRP) for the same price as I paid for from another dealer. They also were giving away $200 gander mountain cash.

Ah well.. The dealer I did buy it from is only 5 miles away, gander mountain is about 35....

 

BOWDEN, You hit it right on the head, that is what I was thinking. that is why I got mine at a Local Dealer, They sell only Arctic Cat sleds and Atvs. Also I can talk to them about a problem because they know the machine. They also have a parts department try to get that at bass pro or gander. (Sorry sir we have to order that part ) yea not for me. That is why I helped the small business more support and somebody that will listen if I have a problem.

 

Bass Pro DOES carry Arctic Cat. Now. Last weekend, at the annual Fishing Classic, they had a large display and factory rep Mark Miller was there to answer questions. The boat manager advised me they are committed to Arctic Cat and are excited about this new line for them.

I'm stilling trying to get back in touch with Mark Miller to discuss specifically when AC is coming out with EFI. He had told me in a couple of months. I'm going to wait for it to buy one.

Get the Gander Mountain credit card, but the Cat there, then you will have a LOT of points! You still get the two year warantee that is good anywhere. Be sure to pay it off in that first month, interest is bad!!

I hate to say that because I do have a good dealer I went to in MN, buy hey, money is money and I work hard for mine.
