AC 650 v-twin problems
#1
hi,
has any one had any problems with the AC 650 v-twin?
i have:
1.belt kicked it into limp mode, had to reset it.
2. bought it and the radiator clamp wasnt fully tightened so it was leaking fluids.
3. was about 16 miles from my hous when all the sudden it quit on me --- come to find out the ground in the key switch went bad? how does that work?
4. last night was riding home, when all the sudden, i sunk to the ground, the rear left wheele shaft under the suspension just snapped and broke off, luckily i was somewhat close to home.
good thing there's a 2 year warranty on these things.... i might sell and get another quad.... maybe the polaris 700 ??
what have you had for problems with your AC650??

Disconnecting the sensor won't help or fix the problem.
there's a 3 prong white connector on the right rear frame, (remove the side panel to access) I think it's a connector for the
Voltage regulator, anyway you need to clean the terminals and apply some dielectric grease. mine has been fine ever since
I've done this (mabey just a coincidence).
Had the stumbling problem on whoopty doo's. raised the float levels in the carbs, seemed to take care of that!
