650 clutch problem help please?
#21
hi guys
i had my bike back to the dealer yesterday
they ended up replacing entire clutch thay worked hard to find the noise it was making upon engagement
they changed out parts one at a time finally replacing entire clutch and weights with new ones from epi
we figure it was either the clutch or the weights making the noise because we notice now that the weights from epi
dont have a bushing surrounding the shaft they ride on therefore metal on metal may be creating the chirp i hear on engagement
they are checking with epi on this and will let me know although i think it may have been the clutch because the noise was present b4
i put in the clutch kit also they readjusted the belt to the tight side it now squeeks at idle so ill let you know how it goes if i ever get out
riding again
hey pockets
can you recomend any campgrounds with power that let you ride from your site where you go

yes talk to Pat at Tay River. i have my fifth wheel parked there
he has a motel, some rv spots with all hookups and some across
on the other side i think have power and then some in front
some like me have a permament spot, but there are always people
coming and going and as long as you are responsible with your atv
on the grounds, he is fine with it, most of the guys camping there
quad all around. if you like privacy and seclusion this may not be for
you, but sometimes i will tow my trailor up or down the road to a secluded
spot, but then, no power,( have to pull out the generator) no sewer, no satalite tv
but anyway here is his number and he fills up fast on long weekends
