Default 01 AC 400 Electical Problem

I have an '01 Arctic Cat 400. Recently the machine stopped abruptly while pulling a heavy load. I checked and found that the 10A low fuse was blown. Also the Ignition fuse blown. Replaced both, the machine now starts but immediately blows the 10A low fuse. What could be causing this? What does the 10A fuse control?

Don't know off the top of my head. Did you look in the manual?

Some machines have had a problem with the wire harness going from the handlebars to the frame. It has rubbed the wires and they have grounded out, blowing the fuses. Might be a place to look.

Also check under the seat. In some cases a couple of the wires can get jammed in the mounting holes for the front of the seat. Also the sift linkage will bump up against a wire bundle under the seat and wear through shorting the wores. Some tie-wrap applications can pull tehse wires out of the way.

When my voltage meter went i blew a few fuses in my 01 300. You could take a look at that.
