First trip...what to take.
#1
I have a AC400I 4x4, so I thought this would be a good place to post. What should I take for an all day ride? Im looking at the following:
Pioneer 3 gallon Fuel Cell
Some type of tire repair kit (any recommendations?)
Other than the standard AC tool kit that is under the seat, anyone have any tool recommendations.
Owners manual. (Is there a more detailed shop manual on the market???)
Thanks for any input. I used to carry a spark plug and spark plug wrench when I rode dirt bikes, This is a little different....
Thanks

Water, gas, food, basic tools, cell phone.
If anything goes wrong,,,,just load up and go home.

Bing has it pretty well covered. I also think until you have some trips under your belt, take a friend along on another machine. Ain't nothing like backup. I almost always carry;
Folding shovel
100' of nylon 5/16" line
strap to winch off trees
****** block
handful of assorted bungee cords
Couple of bottles of water
Come-along if no winch
Tire repair kit and system to inflate tire after repair
spare spark plug
This gear is required, but both do not need to have everything, on of each is all that's needed between you.

good point
I forgot to mention:
dont EVER ride alone,,,,and when you leave the house,,,be sure to let the rest of the family know where exactly you are going and when you will return....... It may seem trivial,,,,but it may also save your life.
Always carry ID,,,and a person to contact in case of emergency written somewhere.
