Default Fuel Lines?

I am replacing the fuel line on my 97 Bearcat. I was wondering if you have to use the black rubber hose like the original? Or would it be ok to use clear polyurethane ones. The ATV catalogs claim the rubber hose if better for impulse systems, thats why I am asking. We usually use the poly lines on our snowmobilesso we can see if they are iced up. Thanks.

Default Fuel Lines?

dude, I replaced the fuel line on my uncle's 454 last year. I just went down to O'reilly's and bought a foot long piece of hose of the same diameter. works like a charm. I'm sure you can find that stuff at autozone or napa or just about anywhere, and it won't cost much at all. Like a few bucks, and thats it.

and now that I actually read what you said, I bet whatever works for a snowmobile will work just the same for the 4wheeler. Same setup basically. Gas engine.
