Wondering if any has or knows if there is an after market front locker or exhaust for the 03 400 auto yet? any info will be appreciated!!
Also, Has anyone swapped a stock rear differential to the front for full time 4 wheel drive? would this work? Thanks!

 

As far as I know there is no locker but......... you could probably buy the 05 locker from AC and change the parts around.

I've put an HMF slip on my 03 400. I just ordered the 500 pipe and put it on. All the Mounts are the same so I had No problem putting it on. Call them and ask for JOE tell him Kentucky Martian (me)said he had done it to his with no problem.Than get a dyno jet kit and jet it the way they recommend. It will wake up a sleeping Cat than


You can also do the EPI clutch Kit Helps a WHOOOOLLLLLEEEE lot as far as bottom end take off.

 

REALLY??!?!? I've been looking for a pipe for my 03 400 auto for ever, and I haven't found anything, i've really been wanting one. SO, an HMF pipe for a 500 works huh?? How big of a difference did it make?? I was already ordering a jet kit, where the heck should I get that pipe?? Anything else to spice this bike up?? I don't care what it is i'm up for any sugestions, I want more power.

 

HMF may tell you it won't fit but......... GO look at an 03 500 pipe and an 03 400 pipe they are the same Look it up they may even be the same part Number.

I put the utility series pipe with a quiet core in Mine. Kinda loud but I've heard alot louder.Just be aware of where you are riding and put you stocker back on if the place is Noise Sens.I alway use My HMF unless I'm trying to be stealthy[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

You WILL notice a difference in power and it sounds pretty cool too.

EPI has a nice clutch kit thats works well also.

Do them and it will turn your cat into a Lion.
