Default CV Boots again!

Well i had a look at my CV boot and its all twisted again. Its not ripped but badly twisted. Its the same one i just replaced 1 month ago. Should i try twisting it back to the original position or should i just buy a new one and replace it. thanx for your opinions.

You should be able to twist it back and reuse it if its not torn. One reason why I have seen twisted boots is that grease is on the boot lip and it allows it to slide- they have to be completely dry and clean before you clamp them onto the axle or houseing. Also the newer CV boots kits fit a bit better than the old ones- the newer ones have the style of clamp that has the clips on it and the old ones just have the fold and bend tab on them and they don't fit the greatest. If you have the older style one you could get the new style clamp and it should work out ok for you.
