as a former AC ATV (and sled) owner and current Honda owner/part time AC mechanic I can tell you that my Honda denial is great and my ignorance is bliss. silly thread.

I had a 1993 300 honda fourtrax and took great care of it. I had it for 13 yrs with no major problems at all. I mainly used it for hunting purpose with the occasional ride here and there. My buddy had a polaris about as old as my honda and took just as much care of his and had the same results. A 10+ yr old machine that treats you how you treat it. I now own an Arctic Cat and believe the same outcome will result from how I take care of the machine. But it is by far my favorite ATV that I have ever been on. No matter what you have if you take care of it, it will last as long as the other guys.

The AC is new with 202 miles. If you are referring to the honda I couldnt tell you because there was no odo or spedometer. It never sat for more than 2 mnths without being taken for a ride. Same goes for the polaris.

i see now why you guys don't have any trouble with your machines,i have a 2004 sp with 7,000 miles on it,didn't start having trouble until about 1,000 or so, mostly suppension trouble cv boots, tie rod ends, ball joints, bushing, bearing, ect. polaris replaced just about everything under warrenty, best warrenty in the bussiness,if you buy a polaris you better buy the warrenty.

i personally would rather have the honda rincon but without the locker & a low range it's just not the machine i;m lookin for. so i'll take the H-1 until honda makes some changes.. that's alot of money to spend on something your not sure you'll be satisfied with.

I have an h1 would highly recommend it. very reliable. it is an 06 with 1100 miles on it. No problems what so ever. THe auto choke feature is awesome if you ride in the cold at all.
