I've said this before and I'll say it again:

I used to own a Honda motorcycle and will never buy another. The one I had gave me too many problems to list, but the biggest where the leaky forks and the engine. I put 15,000 miles on it and had to have it rebuilt 3 times. Yep, thats 5,000 miles per engine. I had to carry a pocket full of fuses to keep the lights working.
My AC on the other hand gets rode hard buy lots of people from my 66 year old father, my teenage nephews, and 12 year old daughter. It has been off the ground more time than the space shuttle, and no problems what so ever other than a very minor shifter adjustment when new that I took care of myself.

Both machines had proper care, so that wasn't the problem. I know other people have had good luck with Honda so maybe I just had a lemon, but I have owned several AC machines (mostly sleds) over the years, and all have been good to me. The only problems I have had with AC have been self induced.

Nobody can despute the Honda relaibility.

But when I see trail riders on a Foreman or a Rubicon, or anthing else with a solid axle I can't help but feel that these folks are unaware that there are more appropiate machines available for pleasure riding. Except for the Rincon, Honda does not offer a comfortable trail machine. Arctic Cat, Yamaha, Polaris (and every other manuafacture) all offer good choice of comfortable riders.

If you want to use your machine for pure utility work, buy the Honda. Otherwise check out the Arctic Cats or the Rincon.

a very vague and loaded question, which I will answer with another: would you spend $7,799 for a 3WD machine?

With locking diffs which i know both ac and yamaha have standard on their 650 (660) (other companies may have locking diffs but i am not familiar with them) you have a four wheels solidly spinning with no forgiveness.
