What is the difference between 2000 500 automatic and 2001 500.Thanks

New..... somewhat improved stick stoppers.
I think most of the improvements were on the manual 500.It now has many of the same features as the auto.had last year.

 

The major differences between 2000 and 2001 were on the manual 'Cat, however the Auto 'Cat did get a few minor changes. Graphics are new to the Auto as well as black rims instead of grey. The break fluid reservoir is steel instead of the clear plastic, they put some partial stick stoppers underneath, gave it a reverse overdrive switch and re-designed the starter button/headlight switch assembly. If memory serves properly, that's about it for the changes to the '01 Auto 'Cat.
