Default 2005 AC model availability question...

Thanks for the feedback, BB. I've been duly impressed by the places my little honda will go, to the point that it does better than other bikes in 2wd... I've really rarely been stuck, and when I get sunk the little honda is small enough to move by hand (most times, lol..). That said, I'm looking forward to 2x the cc's and 2x the wheels churning, especially with diff lock. I've ridden my brother in laws '03 400 and it is all the bike I would ever need, so you know I had to get the 500!!! (sorry Joe-)

In his LAST message, the dealer used the word "guarantee" 'd he would have my ride 09-25-04. Time will tell, and congrats!

MB

Hi MB,
when you pick your machine and I hope for you sake, this weekend, could you ( or anybody, please ) ask him where to get "shop manual" for your machine. It seem to stump local folks, when I inquired.Thanx in advance.

Default 2005 AC model availability question...

Hi MB,so far I have logged on 45 happy miles.I had a bit of scare, as at one of my stops, I have smelled smoke and sure enough right on the mufler grass, muskeg was slowly burning away.Potential forest fire hazard, scared myself pretty good.Luckily no harm to anything.
Today I have purchased a Fram6018 oil filter can$8.25 and 4 quarts of Amsoil 0-40 synthetic oil for can$39.96,good insurance.Other than ,that everything else is rather nice.It is a good ride.

How do you like the manual shifter? This has an automatic clutch right?

Hi Gillfisher,
I like the manual shifter and the number of different power combinations it gives me.I admit it's taking me a while to learn, how
to use all this power. I have the tendency to speed, now that the ride is more comfortable, due to independent suspension.Last night,I was in low gear and 2-3 gear doing 4-8 km/hr and I liked the power at that speed.I was checking out the grouse population this year.
For me, the real test of power will come, when I start to use my 48 inch lawn mower in summer of next year.By that time I should have it broken in.
