Default vdi snorkle mod for 650

Has anybody done a vdi snorkle mod to the airbox of a 650 cat. i searched the forum and could not find any posting in the last few months. My question is this - What jets do you use for the carbs. I read somewhere that #138 jets should be used. I have them ordered but they are on back order for a month at least. I have ordered #135 jets hoping they will work just as well. Not really mechanically inclined. My friend does all the work. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Stock for the Kawi is 138 front, 142 rear......stock for the AC is 128 in both. I went to Kawi stock sizes after opening up the airbox intake (VDI mod).

You can put a larger snorkle on and stay at stock height, thats what I plan on doing, don't want to cut any holes.

Is that what you did DaveB?Is it a custom job?

I put a 2-1/2" 90 deg elbow directly into the airbox by drilling over the stock "stub" sticking out of the airbox with a 2-3/4 hole saw. I then drilled a hole in the plastic and ran it to the outside.
