650 is a BEAST!

I had to tow my nephew's little Bombardier Rally out of one of the toughest trails at Windrock: Trail 12. It broke a tie rod, so the front left wheel was useless. We strapped it to the back of the 650. I was worried until we lit that 650 up and went for it. It blasted through, over, and up everything we threw at it. Neither the chassis, engine, or tranny seemed to strain in any way with the load out back or the 100lbs of gear and gas I had on the front. The only difficulty was turning because of the way we had to strap them together. Since we couldn't turn, we had to go up and over or through things I wouldn't have tried otherwise. I still can't get the grin off my face.
People can say what they want about that tranny, but it handled this duty with aplomb. I can't imagine putting a drive train under more stress than that. I still can't get the grin off my face. It turned what would have been a bad-luck day into a great story to tell. What a machine!

great story dan i had a buddy break a tie rod on his grizz (for the record it was his fault not the machines) so we had to winch his front end up in the air by wrapping the winch cable around my rear bumper well it kinked my rear bumper but i pulled him through some loon stuff then drove about 45 mph for 6 miles on a gravel road and i found out them grizzleys are heavy in the front end it sacked out my rear end but nothing faultered
