05 650 stuck in limp mode.
thanks for the responses.yeah i took the cvt cover off and found the switch in the off position .im guessing it needs to be in the on position to run right.belt very loose .about 2 inches of play.using the straightedge check method.how do i adjust the deflection.do i need the specialty tools like the puller?can anyone tell me what tools i need and how to tighten the belt.i asked 2 different dealers one mechanic said he never adjusts tension he replaces the belt.i dont think my belt is in bad shape.another guy tells me i only need the puller .can someone who adjusts this belt all the time please give me the right info.thank you

i did it all myself i just put in the pink spring yesterday and i previously put in the black secondary spring the pink spring in the primary clutch is very very easy you don't need a puller or nothing just unscrew the cover and pop in the new spring you don't need to worry bout the weights for the secondary clutch you need to unbolt it and then you gotta rig up or buy a clutch compressor some people used pvc pipe i used regular metal pipe and used a lag bolt and some washers for the time being take out the bolt that holds on your secondary clutch and there should be 2 shims on there one that is .08 and one that is .1 i believe take out the smaller of the two and trust me if you burned your belt it is shot they look fine but they are never the same you will notice a drop in power and with these two springs you will lose maybe 2 mph on top end but you will feel more on bottom end not a tremendous amount but i have been climbing ditches with my bad belt today in high range and drove very very slowly to barely engage the clutch couldn't get it to slip at all so hopefully this will help i am happy i FINALLY managed to get my clutching the way i like it

Try this website. You essentially have the same motor as the Prarie 650
