Default Problem with 250

I noticed a fluid, appears to be a gas/oil mix, dripping from the duckbill tube coming from the air filter box. For those of you familiar with this engine, it is the tube that goes all the way up to the front of the bike, and back again, and drains just above the skid plate on the right side of the engine. It seems as though the engine is a little bogged down, too. I'm going to call my dealer, but they won't be opened until Tuesday. Any ideas in the meantime?

How much oil in the bike? you may have over filled.I would check that first. Also if you had the bike on its side or rolled over you might have drained some oil in the airbox.

Thanks for the reply, ArcticBrat. I haven't added any oil since buying it, (it's brand new), and it didn't do it up until today. It hasn't been on it's side or even on uneven ground for that matter.

Have you checked the oil? Maybe the dealer over filled it. Just a thought

That drain is the airbox drain. Only 4 things can drain thru it. Air (not a problem), Gas (flooding carb or blow back thru carb) Oil ( from the crankcase) and water (either condensation or outside water from rain , etc.)
