Default Just about made up my mind on an Artic Cat?

a few more tips:like some of these other riders are saying, a manual for pulling or hard work is definatly the way to go. i have 2300 miles on my 02 500 ac and never had a problem with any mechanical part of the bike. this bike is meant to work and does it well. of course i havent put 2300 miles just pulling logs but i have done lots of farm work with it,hauling a trailer full of wood, putting in food plots, the fast trail rides, slow trail rides,ect...not to mention alot of this is done in the summer when its 80- 95 degrees out. also i have an old atv magazine that has an arctic cat article in it, the story says how its never turned off and runs just about 24hrs a day 7 days a week. the bike is a 500 and has 55,000 miles on it, the top end was rebuilt but they used it in a lumber yard every day. it did show a pic of the bike and it wasnt in the greatest shape but the point was thats a lot of miles on any 4 wheeler. about the belt under warrenty,i think most belts on alot of bikes have a lifetime warrenty. this may not be the case for arctic cat but they do have an aluminum casing over the belt rather than them plastic casings like the grizzly and polaris. hope some of this helps!

If I was in the market for a pure utility ATV for pulling purposes, I'd get a manual shift AC 500 with ACT suspension. I can't think of anything else that would better fit the description other than maybe a Traxter (which is far too ugly for me to ever recommend to anyone). Rubicon is good, brakes suck though. ACT suspension will flex as good as the IRS version over rocks, just doesn't have the ground clearance. Also is not hindered by trailer tongue weight. Plenty of power to do anything you want. And I'd have a manual geared transmission for pulling purposes all day over any automatic there is. I'd prefer a 450 foreman S over a Rubicon for that matter as well.
