To make the US Horsepower fanatics happy they will need a bigger engine. I though, really like the 686 engine and it will have tons of low end grunt. Great for trail riding and rock crawling.

Ya, those Polaris diesel's didn't work out to well. From what I understand, the people who bought them love them, but they are slow, noisey, and boring. Great for a farmer though.

I guess another thing that would be nice for a farmer would be that they can just dump the tractor fuel in there, instead of having to buy gas.

most swathers and small older tractors use gasoline so for me it wouldn't be an advantage and i like to drive my quad when it is cold outside and with a diesel it would be more difficult to do that. maybe if they put a turbo charger on it. but when polaris did it a few years ago well that was kind of a flop.
