naw prefer to bake them in the oven in cream of mushroom ,they stay tender .

Oh. Well, i will be up there then, and again the weekend before deer hunting, which is two weeks after this next trip. You should deer hunt up there, there is an over abundance of deer around the area

 

This weekend I will be goose hunting in southern MN [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] THen next weekend it is pheasants at my grandma's [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I need to stock up the freezer. However goose is nasty [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] but the pheasants taste great [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Figure I would throw in my duck report too. My dad and I went out saturday and sunday. Saturday we got 8, 4 mallards, 3 green wing teal and a drake woodie. Sunday we got 6, 3 mallards, 2 bluewing teal, and a bluebill. Was kind of suprised to shoot a bluebill this early in the season. All in all, it was fun shooting.
