Hey Catterman Goose is good just have to try different recipies ,I've fried it , baked it , breaded it, made jerky out of it ,just have to prep it right,.

 

I guess the only way I have been able to eat it in the past is by soaking it in soy sause for an hour, then grilling it with salsa on it. What is your best way to cook it??

 

have tried many ways ,of making it ,but just use your imagination .

Had a great goose hunt. Saturday morning was a little slow, but we blasted them Saturday night and Sunday morning. Limited out! I hadn't shot my 10 gauge in almost 4 years, so it was good to get her out again. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

This Saturday (14th) is opening deer season out here in So Cal....Plan to hit the national forest about 20 minutes from my house. Last year I was done about an hour after legal shooting!

Yesterday (Oct 14th) was opening rifle deer season out here on the left coast. Second year in a row, I got my buck about an hour into the season. This one is fairly small, even for this area. After it was field dressed, skinned, and the lower legs and head removed, the butcher weighed him at only 65 pounds. This year I have a second tag, but I have to wait until November to use it. A buddy of mine is hunting in Africa right now, but I plan to go with him next week-end and help him get his buck.

I went pheasant hunting this past weekend, we got a few in our group (me & 3 cousins) but there was just so much corn up [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] And we were using 2 rookie dogs. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]
