Default Finally new tires, but which?

Hey guys, Ive narrowed it down to Delta chrome steel rims, but cant decide between GBC Gators, or Dirt Devils. Anybody have input? I do a mixed ride, like snow, mud, rough trail, ditch ride, and gravel roads. which of these tires are going to last me the longest?

My buddy has a set of Gators on his 03 500 auto and they are very nice for mud/snow riding and they seem to be wearing quite well. He has about 1000 mi on them and they are still 85%- I wish I could say the same about my mudlites! The only thing that sucks about them is the weight as they are heavy but that 650 should pull them especially if you play with the clutches a little. But as I said they are very good in the mud and decent on the trail. Anything is an upgrade over those stockers....

Thanks for the reply. I heard with a big bore, you could go to 27" tires, and turn them pretty easily, but i might just stick with stock size which is 26". what are your thoughts?

Well I forgot to add that he has 26x8 or 9 in the front and 26x12s in the rear and suprisingly its has no trouble turning them or going 45+ mph down the gravel roads. A guy I know has 27" lites on his 650 and has no problems with turning them even in thick goo so I think you should be ok. Like I said you may need to reclutch but I don't think your going to need a big bore...

after 1 year my dirt devils were full of cracks...bad. They still held air, but looked like crap. I kept it in my shed whenever it was parked. The tires were an excellent all round tire.
I just put a set of Bi-Tri Claws on my new V2 I picked up yesterday from the dealer. Hopefully the will be the ticket for throwing the mud.

I have had my DD since last year and put over 1400 miles on them and they still look great. I have riddin in every condition, mud, sharp rocks , hard pack and asphalt and they have handled great in all (be carefull on the asphalt, they bite hard). They are the only tire I will buy from now on.

I just switched to the dirt devils. oh my god talk about going places. I go in some of the places the light 4's could only go even in 4. And throwing mud and snow is so easy. It does have a little more harshness on flat ground but speed helps there. Keeping it a little quicker seems to help.

Hmmm...how about some goodyear mt/r's. I've got the perfect takeoff set to sell you...haha. Ok, replaced them with mudhook xtremes which are really nice. You can't have those. Had them for two years now and they're great. I plow snow (done over a foot in one swipe on my 1100' driveway), pulled logs (um, oak, 12" diameter, 12+' long), and ride over and through pretty much anything from rocks and logs to mud...no problems...and great traction.
