i have pressure bilding up in my gas tank . isent there a vent ? were is it?

here is an old post where my vent was plugged when new, pull the vent hose off and see if you can push a wire into the tank, mine was solid plastic.

 

i did some checking to find out why it was building pressure .the vent line runs all the way up to the handle bares but it was not pinched .what i found is that there is a check valve in the line that only lets air go one way .so what i did is buy pass it ,i put in a line filter to fill in the space were the check valve was .
