AC 700 EFI who has one???

I am thinking I would like to get 1 of these new quads but would like to get feedback from people who own them. There is not alot info on these. Have you had any problems? How smooth do they ride and how do they steer? I think I will get 1 of these or polaris sportsman 700 or 800. Any help would be appreciated.

Different features on different quads. Depends on what type, and where you will be doing most of your riding.
AC 700efi - Better ground clearance
2" reciever
Speedrack
Stronger racks
Differential Lock
Polaris 700/600 - Twin motor
Comfortable ride
Bugs worked out
AWD (both are 4x4 brands, AC is shift on the fly, not sure of polaris)

Just bought one Friday June 30th and Love it. I am new to ATV's so this is my first. Did a lot of research before I chose Artic Cat. American made, Highest ground clearance, and high suspension travel, Automatic with shift on the fly 4wd, front differential lock, Electronic Fuel Injection, Single Cylinder four stroke engine, adjustable shocks, big gas tank, will tow a lot, and many other features others had but not all of them. It is a little big but the power is amazing, a real goat when climbing. Already got it stuck in a deep mud hole and almost turned it over due to my inexperience. It is a darn nice vehicle, I think after I get better at riding it will be hard to stop.

Thanks for the responses guys I know that I definately want fuel injection. I've ridden an 06 sp 800 and the ride and steering is amazing compared to my 01 500. I have not riden any AC but they look like they to would have a nice ride. Is the steering pretty easy on the AC but not so light that its twitchy or is it so hard I'll need to take vitamins before riding. I live in eastern Kansas and we have have hills and mud. I use my quad for hunting and riding. Everybody in my family has polaris and I'm the kind of guy that likes to have stuff a little different from others.

The 700's have been awesome so far. Only fault is the orange color. I guess a few people have had the paint peel off. Arctic Cat has covered this under warantee and replaced the fenders though. Good luck and let us know what you get

Had mine about a month. Went from an 04 Grizzly to the Cat. I love it. Even with Yam coming with their 700 efi, i am still glad i bought the Cat. Its about 130 lbs heavier than the grizz but most of that is due to better racks and bumpers. Even with the weight, it has way more get up than the grizz and i am told by my dealer the power will increase dramatically at 500 to 600 miles. it steers a bit stiffer than the grizz but not enough to make a difference. I am also getting better fuel economy than i did before.
I LOVE the orange paint. Everyone comments on how it looks. I was a bit skeptical after reading posts on here and on ArcticChat but then i went to a dealer and he had one in he was changing oil on. it had been ridden hard for the first couple hundred miles and NO paint issues. small scuffs from trees but you get that with all machines. Dont get me wrong, i understand some people have had issues but i have yet to find any in my area and i have been looking hard.

I have one. Awsome power, I weigh in at about 375 and it will wheelie in low all day long from a stop or any speed up to 15mph in low. Will sometimes wheelie in high but it is geared high in high. Handles great steers comfortably. I love my 700.

Now here i come to defend Polaris. I have an AC/Kawasaki dealer less than a mile away, its practically right by my house. I've seen the 700 and look impressed with what i see. I've ridden AC 400 and 500's (both '05 and newer) and was impressed. However, the ride wasnt near the Polaris. When i went mudding with my friend's '06 500 it has 29.5's he couldnt keep up with me, and it was obvious ( i am not bragging b/c i know 200cc is alot of difference) so i definatly think a SP 800 could hang fairly easily in the goo with the 700EFI.. The 700EFi has the start off lag like the KingQuad does. Yes, Polaris does have switch on the fly true 4x4.. A MUCH better ride (IMO), Polaris Lock'n'Ride system (VERY Similiar to AC's "Speedrack") and the 800 will be in its 3rd yr of production for '07 (assuming Polaris doesnt come out with a true 800) so the bugs are worked out. And btw the Polaris 700 has PLENTY of power. I love mine. And i would think the Polaris 700 and 800 are faster than the 700Cat.. BUT this new Cat is also new, so who knows what its capable of. And for '07 many more color options are available for the AC 700EFI.. I wanted to be different from all my friends and family so i went with Polaris. They all have Cat's, Honda's and Yami's. And i havnt regretted it one bit. The '06 Polaris Camo's look sweeeet.
