Default Wheel Bearings

Are the wheel bearings sealed on the Arctic Cats? I have a 2006 500 and was wondering what wheel bearing maintance I should be aware of. Can I pull them apart and grease them every once in awhile and replace the seals or do I just wait untill they go bad and then replace the whole bearing?

I mostly just trail ride but I do go through mud and water every once in awhile. Can I do any preventative maintance now while it is still new like repacking them with a better quality grease than the factory put in? It has 100 miles on it.

On the later ones, yes they are sealed. My 2005 has sealed bearings. My 2001 does not have sealed bearing. But then even sealed bearings can fail.
